Porters Horticultural Limited

(formerly Porters Fuchsias) have been supplying high quality bedding and pot plants for over 20 years. Having started off in the back garden of John Porter, the Porter family have seen their business expand rapidly. It is now a company that spans three sites and has an overall size in excess of 14 acres of glass.

Back in 1984 Porters supplied only fuchsias to enthusiastic growers. Since then, however, they have expanded their range to produce many varieties of pack bedding, pot bedding (including Surfinia) and hanging baskets. The customer base has also altered and is now tailored to the needs of large national retail outlets such as Morrisons . They also supply rooted cuttings to one of the largest global horticultural companys.

The greenhouses owned by Porters are technologically advanced, boasting:

Transplanting machines,
Seeding machines,
Container benching,
Loading bays and
Boom watering.
